The aim of Bharathadeepam is to study and research about the history, culture and customes of downtrodden slave people; and about the Pratyaksha Raksha Deyiva Sabha [PRDS-Community of direct protection by the god] which was founded by Poyikayil Sreekumara Gurudevan, who played an important role in uplifting and uniting the slaves.

It also aims to attain and provoke the youth generation to follow and activate Gurudeva’s advices and visions, to discuss the bitter life experiences of past Dalit generations who lived as bilegged cattle for centuries .Those generation were considered as slaves and divided into castes and sub-castes. On their own native land they were considered untouchables by the upper castes and were aliened from public society.

In the name of Gurudevan, we are inviting all sections of people to practice his advice that there should be no divisions among human beings

Bharathadeepam was named by honourable Dalit Preacher “Achariya guru” who is the elder son of Poyikayil Sreekumara Gurudevan.
Gurudevan unified and resurrected primitive inhabitants of this land, of his period who were considered as slaves, backwards, downtroddens and who were divided into castes and subcastes.
Here we are trying to re-create “Bharathadeepam” for the unification of Dalits.
